This policy explains how M3IK collects, uses, and protects your personal information in compliance with Quebec's Modernized Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information (Law 25).

2. Information Collected and Purposes
We collect only the information you provide through our contact form: name, email, company (optional), and project description. This information is used exclusively to respond to your service request.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to analyze website traffic, only with your explicit consent. We also use a technical cookie to remember your display preference (dark/light mode) and a cookie to remember your consent choice.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except in the following cases: (a) when required by law, (b) to protect our legal rights, or (c) with your explicit consent. Data collected through Google Analytics is subject to Google's privacy policy.
5. Data Retention and Destruction
Data collected through the contact form is retained for a maximum period of two (2) years following the last interaction, after which it is securely destroyed. Server logs (hashed IP addresses) are retained for 90 days. You may request early destruction of your data by contacting us at info@m3ik.com.
6. Your Rights
In accordance with Law 25, you have the following rights:
- Right of access: Obtain a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Right of rectification: Have inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information corrected.
- Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw your consent at any time, without prejudice.
- Right to data portability: Request the transfer of your data in a structured format.
- Right to be forgotten: Request the destruction of your personal information.

7. Information Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, modification, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include: TLS/SSL encryption of communications, restricted data access, hosting on a dedicated server located in Canada, and periodic review of security practices.

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. In the event of a material change, we will notify affected individuals by email or through a visible notice on our website. The date of the most recent update is indicated at the top of this page.
